Biography

Chuck Pappas is an Actor, Director of Photography and Producer based out of Los Angeles, CA. He has found success in combining these ventures both on the stage and on the screen. 

 

Chuck Pappas started his career early on a stage. Finding a love for both music and live theatre he found a home in the modern musical. Chuck had several show runs with musical and children theatre touring companys. However Chuck never one to miss out on a new opportunity eventually turned in the stage for a brand new type of live performance venue. Chuck began to intern with a suboutlet MTV group based out of Las Vegas in charge of filming and broadcasting local music talent. It was here Chuck developed the skills which he would use later on in his work in cinema. While working behind the scenes Chuck never missing an opportunity to also be in the spotlight. IN 2008 he began a music career of his own. Opening for many of the local Las Vegas Talent. While making his presence heard on stage through his music Chuck still was shaping his acting career. He began attending classes at Las Vegas Second City which would later be converted to Las Vegas Improv upon Second City's sudden exit out of Las Vegas, NV. 

 

In 2010 Chuck made his way to Los Angeles, CA with an opportunity for commercial representation he quickly bagged Two huge ad campaigns for Sealy Mattress Company and Semir Clothing. However this was just the beginning as he put on his producer hat bringing to the screen several short films. Finding a love for behind the scenes once again Chuck teamed up with Oliver Singer to create the cinematography for the 2013 Short Film AWOL. Soon after Chuck found a home as one of the prominent DP's in the horror industry. Going on to film the shorts Family Time, Dr. Suess's There's a Wocket in My Pocket and Feature films White Crack Bastard, To Jennifer and Nick Palumbo's Muse.
